| Arts camp staff |
In August 2012, the arts camp took place in Bogota to children in a low income community. The community, Salitre Alto, is in the north part of the city. BuildaBridge artists and Colombian artists taught classes together.
The overall goals for the camp were:
- Increase children’s commitment to learning
- Create a hopeful vision for children’s future
- Foster self-efficacy (indicator of resiliency)

| All ages show up and a class for preschoolers is added. |

| The building is too small for all classes so quick planning is in order |
